Interactive Light Installation
Light Tubes, Wood Structure, Timer, Sensor

Lightwall is a medial architecture-installation. An elegant corpse of light made from hundreds of discarded and only a few new neonlights forms a wall of almost textile appearance. Like a curtain in a draft the lights pick up the movements of passers-by and reflect them in a swift motion of delicate light changes, like an immaterial echo.

Lightwall is the result of the postgraduate seminar Mediatecture: sens>action taught at the CAAD-department of the ETH Zürich in autumn/winter 2003/04 in collaboration with K. Strehlke and O. Fritz.
