The otherwise mainly industrially used material stainless steel is used to make elegant picture-like objects that can function as mirrors at the same time, due to the high reflective quality of the material.

Line drawings of abstracted motifs of flora and fauna inspired by Chinese ink paintings are laser cut into the steel surface. After production individual elements are by hand bent out of the pane to break up the two-dimensionality. Likewise, the illustrated wildlife becomes animated and fragments the reflections into kaleidoscopic colours and images.
